About Us

    When my husband and I moved to the area we wanted to become more involved in the community, however, we never knew when events were coming up until it was too late. So we decided to start a monthly publication showcasing all that Lake Livingston has to offer.

    After working as a newspaper editor, I am thrilled to be doing a monthly publication in an area that I love. Lake Livingston has so much to offer and I am proud to become a part of this wonderful community.

    We started Piney Woods Pathfinder as a way to bring the community together and promote all the activities and events. We also wanted to offer to local businesses an affordable and effective way to advertise their business.
